Kevin Wayne Durant the top scoring American professional basket ball player is one of the most loved players all over the world. Kevin, 25, has fans far beyond Oklahoma City due to his humbleness towards the game and utter professionalism.

Here are some amazing facts which are very little known about him.

1. He had many nicknames like ‘The Second Coming’, ‘KD’, ‘K-Dog’, ‘K-Smoove’, ‘The Durantula’, ‘Slim Reaper’ and ‘The Servant’. But he likes to be called as ‘The Servant’. When asked why he answered “I just like to serve everybody: My teammates, ushers at the game, fans. Just serve everybody.”
2. He loves non-vegetables like fried chicken, mutton, waffles, Deep south meatloaf but his favorite is crab legs. His favorite ice-cream flavor is strawberry.
3. Kevin wears number 35 to honor his childhood coach and mentor, Charles Craig, who was murdered at age 35.

7. In 2008, Kevin was invited to try out for the U.S. Olympic Dream Team. Greg Oden was the only other freshman to earn this honor. Kevin did not make the final cut.
8. Kevin inked a $60 million endorsement deal with Nike in 2007. Only LeBron James has a bigger shoe contract. Kevin turned down more money from Adidas because he had worn Nikes his whole life.
9. Kevin had a 3.0 GPA as a college freshman. He attends classes at UT in the summers and is working toward his degree.
10. Kevin has never been in love before besides his puppy which is his only love according to him.
