Is Justin Bieber Really Retiring? NOT EXACTLY!

Last Updated: December 21, 2013

Justin Bieber had to go through a lot this year. This was probably the wildest year for him after he started his career in 2008. But could it really be enough for him to end his music career?

On a brief interview in L.A with power 106 he said that his next album “Journals” would be his last.

"I'm actually, uh, I'm retiring man, I'm retiring, yeah," believed the 19-year-old. "I think I'm probably going to quit music." But his sources were telling another story… they said he’s “Joking”

Nonetheless, Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, self-proclaimed scheduled Wednesday he would want the singer to take a period away from the spotlight once his film "Believe" smashes theaters on Christmas.

"I’m telling him after this movie, I want him to take next year off and just take a break," Braun celebrated through an interview scheduled KIIS FM's "On Air With Ryan Seacrest." "He can still live in the studio and work on the next album, which is what he wants to do, but I just want him to take some time to himself, so he can have that time alone, cause he’s been working since he was 12 years old."

Braun likewise told us that the film, "Believe," would discourse the argument that has trailed Justin this year.

"Over the last nine months, Justin got into trouble sometimes -- a few times -- and we started seeing this thing going on, of just the press over and over again got into a place where they could get away with anything," Scooter clarified. "And there’s a point where you just can’t respond to every single rumor, so we just had to let it go. I could sit there and address every single one, but it was ridiculous so we decided with this movie we are going to address it all at once”. "Our director Jon Chu sat down with Justin for a three-hour interview and asked him really hard questions ... and we decided instead of running away from the issue, we are just going to go after it head-on," persisted Braun. The world premiere of "Believe" is set for tonight in Los Angeles, so it's expected Justin may explain that "retire" statement meant for all folks Beliebers out there.
