Bio: William Marcel Buddy Collette was an American tenor saxophonist flautist and clarinetist. He was highly influential in the West coast jazz and West Coast blues mediums also collaborating with saxophonist Dexter Gordon drummer Chico Hamilton and his lifelong friend bassist Charles Mingus.
