Bio: Foster Curbelo a Composer, songwriter ("The Thrill of a New Romance"), author and conductor who, after high school, played in the Xavier Cugat orchestra, then formed his own orchestra. He joined ASCAP in 1954, and his other popular-song compositions include "Le Espero" and "The Girl With the Spanish Drawl".
