Bio: Maarten Biesheuvel is a Dutch writer. He made â??â??his literary debut in 1972 with the short story collection In the upper cage. He received the "Ferdinand Bordewijk Prize" in 1984 for travel through my room. In 2007 he received the PC Hooft Award.
