Bio: Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is the Emir of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is a successor organisation to the Islamic State of Iraq and Al Qaeda in Iraq, which was the Iraqi division of the international Islamist militant organization al-Qaeda, however in February 2014 the latter disavowed any relations with al-Baghdadi's group.
