Ruby Dee

Bio: Ruby Dee is an American actress, poet, playwright, screenwriter, journalist, and activist. She is perhaps best known for co-starring in the film A Raisin in the Sun and the film American Gangster for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She married two times with Ossie Davis from 1948 to 2005 and Frankie Dee Brown from 1941 to 1945. She has three children named Guy Davis, Hasna Muhammad Davis and Nora Day Davis.
