Darren Sharper the Ex-NFL charged in rape case

According to Los Angeles County district attorney’s office on Friday, Darren Sharper, the former NFL star was charged in the alleged in rape of two women in California. The women two women charged were said to be one charged in the October and the other in the last month.

Darren who is a five time Pro Bowl player and who later join NFL Network is charged to rape the women by using drugs.

In his fourteen years career, the thirty eight years old Sharper has played defensive back for the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings. According to the Spokesman Richardo Santiago of the district attorney’s office on Friday while he appeared in Los Angeles Country but his hearing was delayed until Thursday. 

After arresting Sharper on January on 17, he was released on a bail worth $200,000, however it is expected that by next Thursday his bail would be increased up to $ 10 million.

The controlled substances which were used by Sharper were morphine and zolpidem, which are also called the sleep aid Ambien.
