Future of Washington Redskin with Jay Gruden as new Coach

Every coach dreams to be a head coach and this is one of the best news that Jay Gruden has been appointed by the Redskin as a coach. Jay Guden who is most recently offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals has been hired as new coach of Washington redskin on Jan 9, 2014. He was introduced as a new coach during a news conference at Redskins Park. It is worth mentioning here that Gurden is a team’s eighth head coach since Daniel Snyder purchased the franchise in 1999.

Jay Gruden is the brother of former Tampa Bay Baccaneers and Oakland Raides former coach Jon Gruden. He has also provided his services as a head coach in Arena Football League and also the United Football League. This gentleman inherits a Redskins team that lost 40 games in four years under Shanahan. Gurden worked with Redskins General Manager Bruce Allen with in Tampa Bay, where he was working as an assistant coach for team’s general manager.

Jay Gruden foresees the Redskins sticking with the 3-4 defense, and he plans to stick with the 3-4 defenses as he has taken over the team. In order to make a very competent and effecinent team, Jay Gruden and his new staff have decided so that they can make as they are looking forward to upgrade the defense.

According to the sources, Gruden love the 3-4, well he expects that he and his team can play very well, that they may find some issues. Moreover according to him, Gruden is excited to talk to the candidates to still instill a 3-4 defense.
