Johnny has a hard time whether he should join NFL or not. But the real question remains is there a place for a player like Johnny in the modern NFL?

An anonymous scout on national football post said about Johnny that, “He’s Favre. On Sunday he’s going to play he’s (butt) off. The rest of the week he’s going to do what he wants to do. If you tell him not to drink, he’s not going to listen. He’s going to go drink. If you can tell him not to chase (women), He’s going to chase (women). That’s just who he is and he’s just going to do what he wants. I think he’s going to be great, but you’re going to have to deal with him on his terms.”

Comparing manziel to Favre, manziel doesn’t deserve Favre’s greatness, but when Favre was selected people questioned his immaturity. His off-field attitude that just doesn’t gel with his team mates, and when this is going on then something goes wrong in the locker room and eventually in the game. He cannot risk being the important part of the game and at the same time keep an attitude that is not healthy for him, I mean he cannot pursue his game with the same pace is he just plays on Sundays and enjoys leisure time on other days, while the rest of his team is kicking their butts off in the field.

Other than that he has won some notable awards during his sophomore year and broke many records. He still has two years of eligibility remaining so he has nothing to worry about. Manziel threw for 4,114 yards and 37 touchdowns this season while also running for 759 yards and nine touchdowns.
