Julia Roberts’s Half Sister Dies of Overdose of Drug

Nancy Motes, the half sister of Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts died on Monday. The reason behind her death was due to a possible drug overdose. This was reported by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

John Kades, L.A. County Coroner spokesman reported that, the dead body of the Nancy Motes, who was 37 years old, was found in a bathtub which was full of water at her residence at Los Angeles.

The drugs were found at residence which was not Motes’s home.

Although the possible reason of her death was the overdose of the drugs, however it will take a little bit longer to find the actual reason, according to the reports there is possibility that it will take around eight to ten weeks in order to investigate the pending toxicology report.

Nancy Motes was born to the mother of Oscar-winner Robert. Nancy Motes is half sister of Oscar-winner Julia Robert, and Eric Roberts, her brother.

Julia Robert expressed her grief on her death. Julia Roberts, 46, is currently nominated in her role in “August: Osage County” for the best supporting actress Oscar.

The Robert family is shocked and devastated due to the Motes death, and the family expressed its grief, "It is with deep sadness that the family of Nancy Motes ... confirms that she was found dead in Los Angeles yesterday of an apparent drug overdose,"
