Pakistani Government withdraw Peace Talks with Taliban

After the reported killing of the 23 paramilitary soldiers on Monday, Pakistani government has refused to have peace talks with Taliban.

Taliban claimed the responsibility of killing of 23 people on late Sunday, after which it engender the peace talks towards further uncertainty.

Since 2010 Taliban have a sense of hatred towards the paramilitary, who belong to the frontier corps. The reason behind killing of paramilitary forces is reported to be as a revenge of recent killing of Taliban in Karachi and Peshawar who were in government custody.

There are further chances of attacks against the military forces, which was reported by Omar Khalid Khurasani, who is a spokesman for Taliban faction. He moreover quoted that, “We want to make it clear to the government that we know how to take revenge,”

The attack was condemned across the country, Prime Minister Mr. Nawaz Sharif, called it a “brutal and heinous” act which has retaliate the peace talks. While expressing grief over the killing of the paramilitary forces he said that, “Pakistan can’t afford such bloodshed”.

Soon after the killing of the forces at the frontier, Irfan Siddiqui,  who is the top government negotiator declared to cancel the scheduled peace talks with Taliban, “We have to say with regret that things are not moving in the right direction”

Moreover he did not mention any thing about resumption of the peace talks.
