And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others; it makes them believe deeper in something larger than life; than his essence, his spirit will be immortalized.” These were the final words of the Ultimate Warrior in Monday Night Raw just a day before his shocking death.

 The Ultimate Warrior who was recently inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment hall of fame has died on April 8, 2014 at the age of 54. His real name was James Hellwig. The 6ft 2in, 127kg wrestler was one of the US professional wrestling’s most celebrated names known for his signature neon garb and face paint. The cause of his death is still a mystery.

Hellwig began his WWE career in 1987 and rose to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history, defeating Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI to become a WWE Champion. His last appearance on WWE was in Monday Night Raw on April 7, 2014.

"WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE superstars ever, the Ultimate Warrior. We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE hall of fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans," the WWE Company said.

Fans, supporters and wrestlers took to the internet to express their respect for the wrestler. WWE superstars and Hall of Fames also expressed their deepest condolences on twitter and other social networking websites.
